Did you know…
Getting a phone in the uk requires a bank card? Well, neither did I, and despite my best efforts to run scams and try and get them to sign me without one, I failed.
A very bizarre set up and Amir in 3 mobile is so sick of seeing my face, he practically runs for the back room when I walk in the door. Poor fella.
In any case, my piece of garbage sony ericsson is functional and I guess that’s all you can really ask for.
I did however end up running scams in other departments, you’ll be glad to know. I accidentally signed my traveler’s cheques ahead of time and this voids them. The jerk off in marks and spencer laughed at me when I tried to cash them there so I went to my bank (lloyd’s - biggest peasant bank in the uk) and faked signing them there. The girl behind the counter was gossiping about some guy across the bank, allowing me to sneakily change the date of cashing and pretend that I had signed them.
Long story short - got my money.
Things are starting to shape up, as in I’ve started to look the correct way before I cross the road and I figured out the “x, xx, xxx” system in texting.
Stay posted for further developments in the cell phone dept. They may even let me sign a contract one day…hopeful, I know.
My new flat mate introduced me to pro green - a uk rapper. He has some good stuff but can be rough on the ears at time. I’ve got a bit of a smorgasbord of music, but you can sort through it and select what you like for yourselves. Compartmentalizing music today was not happening - sorry!
