At home for now
Finally in Leeds! Took long enough though. We got here around 6 PM last night and drove around the city for 2 hours…unintentionally. Lost seems like an understatement now because I was preparing to drive all night (without any exaggeration).
Tensions were high in the peugeot but after we hired a cab to follow, we finally got to the residence at about 8:30 or 9 at night. I went around the city today and got groceries and home essentials. Also met some of the dudes in my flat - unfortunately, the majority are in exams until the 21st so I’m out with a friend from home tonight.
I posted most of my Scotland photos but I haven’t started England yet; that will be for this week. It’s always difficult picking up and moving into a new home. It’s even more difficult to try to think of it as ‘home’. My walls are currently bare and my room in general is looking a little drab, but good things come with time. I will post pictures of it when that time comes.
