Sixes and Sevens

My life in England told through music, photos and posts

The beginning of something great

Consolidation is not my forte - nor is efficiency when it comes to packing. Today has been spent mostly judging things based on their absolute necessity. Packing one’s life into 20 kg has been surprisingly harder than I would have imagined. Luckily, my escorts to Scotland (my parents) are accommodating of my need to hoard, making things much easier when it comes down to my pool of “almost no’s.”

After checking the weather today (a stark 1 degree centigrade in Glasgow) I am having mixed feelings about how much of a vacation this will be! In any case, I’m hoping the slushy conditions are not too much of a deterrent to getting around the city and surrounding area; from what I have seen of it in photos, it looks absolutely packed with culture (and Scotch).

My packing music is getting me through the night…mostly an ensemble of winter music so I thought I would do a winter music post. Before long, it will be spring and a post like that won’t make any sense, so here goes:

Get out there and enjoy the snow while you can!

Cheers and updates will follow soon.
